Torq Softdeck Eva Longboard Surfboard Grey
Torq EVA Soft Top Longboard
The Torq Surfboards EVA Soft Top Longboard takes the classic longboard template and combines it with modern EPS/Epoxy construction and a soft EVA outer skin.
This isn’t a basic foamie. It’s a fully constructed epoxy surfboard wrapped in a soft deck and rail layer — giving you genuine glide, trim and flow, with added confidence and durability.
Ideal for beginners, progressing surfers, and experienced longboarders looking for a tough, low-maintenance option.
The Construction
Torq’s EVA Soft Top technology blends performance materials with user-friendly design:
-
Lightweight EPS core
-
Biaxial fibreglass cloth
-
High-strength Epoxy resin
-
Durable extruded EVA deck and rails
-
Integrated Futures fin boxes
In simple terms: it’s a strong, modern epoxy longboard underneath, with a soft outer skin for added safety in the water. You get durability, reduced ding risk and extra reassurance in busy line-ups — without sacrificing performance.
The Shape
This is a tried-and-tested longboard template refined by experienced board builders.
-
Full nose for early wave entry and maximum glide
-
Balanced rocker for smooth trim and flow
-
Forgiving rails up front for stability
-
Sharper rails through the tail for control in steeper sections
The result is a board that paddles effortlessly, catches waves early and holds a clean line down the face. Step back towards the tail and it responds with control and hold when the surf gets punchier.
It does everything a longboard should do — trim, glide, flow and carve — while remaining accessible for those still building confidence.
Who Is It For?
-
First-time surfers wanting maximum stability
-
Improvers looking for long-term progression
-
Intermediate riders wanting a durable everyday longboard
-
Surfers who don’t want to spend custom-board money
It’s slightly firmer and more performance-oriented than a surf-school foam board, but far more versatile as your surfing develops.
